Hi there! I’m Rebecca Uranga and absolutely beyond thrilled to join the Everywhere team as a community manager. I’ve spent the last few years editing videos and creating content in the radio and media industry, and I cannot wait to dive into the world of social media and influencer marketing.

It’s Everywhere tradition to share fun facts so you can get to know me even before we begin working together, so here we go.

1 – I have a kitten named Sebastian who is the apple of my eye. Sub-fun fact: He’s named after Sebastian from La La Land. He’s so adorable that of course he has his own Instagram account. He has 29 followers, but now that you’re reading this, you can make that 30!

2 – I have three movies that I can watch on repeat – literally over and over again: Titanic, The Notebook, and La La Land. To no surprise, I also love Ryan Gosling.

3 – I’m a serious health nut. I run, lift weights, avoid GMOs, do yoga, and I can destroy some avocado toast.

4 – I did a little bit of everything during my three-year stint in radio – board operating, video and audio editing, voiceover work, sales, commercials, social media, graphic design, and reception. Just please don’t ask me why radio stations play the same song over and over again. ☺

5 – My older brother is a professional soccer referee, my dad was a semi-professional soccer player, and I played in college. Oh, and my mom was the ultimate soccer mom.

6 – I’m always watching the news. Sorry, I meant E! News. Basically, I keep up with the Kardashians more than I’d like to admit. Um, can you believe J-Lo and A-Rod are still together?

7 – I am an avid meme collector, so if I speak meme in emails that’s why.

8 – The best career advice I ever got? Figure out how to do it. If you don’t know how, figure it out.

9 – I’ve always been super competitive. For example, I’m still upset that I graduated 3rd in my class. Ugh. (#HumbleBrag?)

10 – I am a sucker for an inspirational quote, and one of my favorites is by Eleanor Roosevelt: “With each day comes new strength and new thoughts.”
