With one of those crazy throws straight out of left field, life has provided me with an incredible opportunity I couldn’t turn down. I’ll be leaving my post at Everywhere in the next couple of weeks and couldn’t feel more conflicted about the change.
I’ve shared more giggles, meals and stress with these ladies in the last year than anyone else. It hurts me on the inside to say goodbye, but I’m excited for what’s next.
Coming from a lay off, this job was the perfect way to restore my faith in leadership, loyalty and the effectiveness of hard work. Agency life pushes and stretches you in ways you could never have predicted or simulated otherwise. In the end, I was ready to take a step away from that lifestyle but it’s an experience that I value an incredible amount.
The ladies of Everywhere love to laugh, eat and drink wine as much as they love to churn out smart strategy and clever content. They’re a spry bunch, these girls, and it takes a whole load of energy to keep up. These women are the most creative and hardworking people I’ve ever had the pleasure to know. They’ve added an absolute splash of color to my life and career and I wouldn’t trade them for a darn thing. Everywhere deserves a replacement that’s perfectly suited for their level of chutzpah.
Whoever takes this position will be in the most capable, albeit crazy, hands anyone in this industry could hope for.
Don’t apply if you aren’t cut out for quick change, multitasking and a giggle-ridden environment. If you think you can keep up and want to have one of the best experiences of your career, then check the job description here and get the ball rolling.
Auf Wiedersehen, Adieu-
